So, I'm at my desk and a yellow jacket lands on my arm from out of nowhere, so I grabbed the nearest beaker, caught it and now have a recipe for making it completely disappear for those who have access to a lab:

Add the following to a 100ml round bottom flask:

1 really pissed off yellow jacket
1 boiling chip
1 potassium sulfate/selenium catalyst tablet
3 mL Sulfuric Acid - concentrated

Place flask on a hot element (using an appropriate chemical fume hood) for 30 minutes. The result is 3 mL of clear liquid - nothing left. :evil2:

It's technical grade - 99%+

This is the beginning steps of what's called a "Kjeldahl Nitrogen Determination". You can dissolved just about anything like this, and then do a distillation to figure out how much nitrogen's in it. I've been waiting for a chance to dissolve a bug for a while.

Video would only be fun for the first couple of minutes, and I don't have a camera here. = (

Potassium hydragen sulfate is a bit much i believe the sulfuric acid alone will handle the job, just heat the sulfuric acid, although what you made is a good didintegrating agent...i guess i just feel bad for the wasp...
