Aftermarket Oil Pressure sensor mounting?

Where is the best place to install an aftermarket oil pressure sensor?

two places that are possibilities:
in the plug right under the h20 input (from rad to motor - lower hose) on the block
or
in the plug right next to the oil filter housing (also in the block - left of housing)

how about in the stock location? yank the stocker and put in the aftermarket....might require an adaptor depending on the gauge you are using.
