Advise on a new paint job.

My paint is really not that bad. However it just dulls out a few days after a wax. So here is the thing. I LOVE black. Almost all my cars have been black. I was talking to some friends and Black metal flake came up. I have never seen this in person but a friend of myne said its like a light metal flake. I would only like it if it was verry muted. Kinda like it would shimmer as it was driveing down the street, but at a stand still you would just barely see it.

Has anyone seen a light metal flake in black? or should I just go with the standard black with a clear coat or 2..?

mines got a red fleck through it, you see it with polarised sunglasses and in direct sunlight but otherwise its like a dirty coke color.
I pick up my car on monday from painters (2 more days) and hopefully its gunna be nice.
