I am looking to buy a 7m-gte over the net. Not too sure what website to go through, considering there are ton of them out there. Maybe anyone else out there who went through a website and has some good feedback! hit me up!

I got my engine set from Tigerjapanese as well and it had no problems. It's kind of a luck-of-the-draw thing. Some people get good engines and some get the bad eggs.

Why not just get yours rebuilt and not have to worry about it breaking or what your putting in your car and have a warranty? This is what I would do, because you might end up in the same boat you are now. Unless your block and head are trashed, then I would understand.

True, I am just being impatient. Been saving for 2 months now. Want to be able to do it now!

Honestly, just do it right and know that your motor is good and rebuilt. It doesn't take long for the machine shop to do it. It's a huge piece of mind! There are horror stories of people buying motors. I bought one and after install 30 miles and 5 bearings were bad. I pulled the motor again and rebuilt it and have put over 25k miles on it with over 400rwhp.

My only advice is don't go anywhere near "Gotjdm.com" if their even still around.
I purchased my 2JZ 6spd through them and that was a nightmare. Engine turned out ok but the whole deal was shady, and i didnt get what i ordered.
