I recently charged my a/c in my 2j car and everything is working prefectly. Only problem I am having is the 2j ecu works differently then the 7m ecu as far as a/c is going. So the ecu doesn't know the a/c is on. So idle fluctuates a little when the compressor tunrs on/off. I was wondering how the 7m AEM ecu is wired as far as the a/c. Does the ecu know the a/c is on and does it compensate for the extra load. Mine the compressor turns on and the idle drops 200-300 rpm and the idle correction brings it back. Which wire is it wired to on the EMS (i mean like user input, a HS/LS) to know its on? I will atempt to wire the 2j ecu the same way to get it to work as it should.

I was looking over the diagrams that I have, and it seems the ecu has a pin from the a/c amp that signials the ecu to turn on the comrpessor (Ecu controls a/c magnetic clutch) Maybe wire the stock signal wire to that to signal the ecu that the a/c compressor should be on, then simply leave the a/c pin disconnected and let the stock mkiii a/c amp work the compressor.

Does the 7m a/c amp have a throttle input where if the throttle is over x% it will turn off the a/c compressor? The aem can do this, but I am not controlling the compressor with the ecu. Would be nice to have if i have to romp on it for whatever reason ;).. dont want to spin the compressor up that high (7k rpms)
