At the moment Engine has done 360,898km+ Usually in between oil change i would loose 1ltr to 1.5ltr of oil. I know the car blows a little bit of smoke and my valve stem seals are worn out and others that i dont know of.....

either than that......it has lasted all the trashing of 4 yrs and still has not blown the stock head gasket nor have any abnormal or overheating experiences... Weird huh? maybe im just lucky.....

Mk3 TSRM guide

Compression pressure
10.0 kg/cm (142psi or more)

minimum pressure
9.0 kg/cm (128psi)

Difference between each cylinder
1.0 kg/cm (14psi or less)

Any way results

Dry Test: 1 & 2 - On Test 3:W/oil

Test 1 Test 2: Test 3:
1 -135 psi 131 psi 143 psi
2 -150 psi 148 psi 156 psi
3 -138 psi 140 psi 155 psi
4 -140 psi 136 psi 150 psi
5 -130 psi 131 psi 150 psi
6 -100 psi 120 psi 136 psi <<<< Cylinder 6 is wierd.

What do you reckon guys i got another 50k left on the engine.. are the rings worn or the head; is this why im not getting consistant No. across the the cyl?

I know 7mgte are stout engines lol...... but i think im running out of luck :p

I would be damn happy at that many k's. If you pressures increase noticeabilly with a bit of oil, generally your rings are worn. Maybe a time for a rebuild before failure...

Possible bad rings. More than possible is slighty BHG. It gets much hotter than the other cylinders at #6 which causes it to fail more often

Cyl. #'s 1,3,4,5 I'd say rings are on there way out.

6 could also be a valve, seasl are prolly leaking because the guides are wearing-valve may not seat properly. but really impossible to say unless you do a leak down. or tear her apart.

I thought 6 'tended' to blow because its tucked in there and cools down at a slower rate than the rest.

50,000kms may be a dream or reallity but one things for sure your gonna be pissing money out the tail pipe because of inefficeintcies. If a rebuild is feasable at the moment i would HIGHLY recomend because your core is more than likely in good shape. neways all this is only my opinion. good luck
