Ok im not new to engine building. Heres a few questions I hope some vetrans can awnser.
1) What is the overall height of the STOCK cylinder head ? (From valve cover rail to head surface? )
2) And the stock cc's of the combustion chamber?
3) What RA values should I be asking my machinist about to run the Hks or Titan metal head gasket?
I am trying to determine if the cylinder head I have has been cut excessivily . If so, will I have to switch to adj cam gears to compensate for TDC on the cams.
Also was looking to compare stock cc's to current to determine comp ratio.
Am I looking at this wrong? Should I be more concerned with the total distance from the crank centerline to the cam centerline? IDK?
4) I have read about the whole oiling issue upgrades but remain unclear on the routing of the oil lines.
As follows..... from the N/A block port(feed) ,to the oil filter relocator(feed),out of filter, to oil cooler,oil cooler to block return(old oil filter housing)
Is this right ? Where is the thermostat switch going in this daisy chain?
