7M r154 >>> 1JZ r154 ...loss of cruise control?

I just had a 1jz r154 swap done into my originally 7mgte r154 and I was told that I can't get my cruise control back. Is this right? Or am I being misled? I just want to make sure. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

only thing i can think of is the position of the throttle cable vs where it use to be. Maybe the ECU has something to do with it? Im not sure

no you should be able to keep it fine. the only problem is making the cruise control line work with the 1jz tb and thats super easy to do (think garage cables, they are the same and its cheap/easy to rig up)
