hey i have a question about the 5 speed swap. I was told that i don't have to change out the driveshaft... I was told that the auto shaft was short but it didn't really matter thoughts? Im in an 87 N/A automatic currently

Always good to get those new and replace them at the same time.

You can find a used one in the forsale section for relatively cheap. Might be just as much as shipping. IF it was me id charge 20$ but i dont have one.

If you junk yarded all your parts you could do the whole thing for under 600. Think a buddy paid like 250 for the trans and pedals and lines and all that and just got a new master/slave. + clutch.

Junkyard prices are different than what stuff actually sells for. So if you can go and have one close to you with a 5 speed and/or r154 then you just need to snag it.

Out here end of the month is 50% every month. or some are like 6 times a year.
