im building an bmw e30 with an 2jz gte vvti engine (jzs161) what came out of an toyota aristo whas originally an 4 speed automatic, (A341E)
i encountered a few problems, i heard that this engine has an speed limiter, and they put that in the ecu. well i also saw that you can buy an speed limit defencer. but here becomes my problem
if im using an speed limit defencer or not, the ecu still needs a speed signal else he's going in limp/error mode
after some research i saw that there are 2 solenoids for the engine speed in this one, but how i gonna give the stock ecu the two right signals wile i'm running the r154 transmission?
i want to try running the engine on stock ecu
is this impossible?:1zhelp:
