First of all, just wanted to go out and see what all the car could do. First time trying to race in the supra. And wanted to know how quick or slow my Supra is compared to some good/amazing platforms. Anyways
My 87t vs Trans Am(cam, full exhaust, head work, p&P, intake)
We're going from a roll around 40ish-3rd honk, i downshift into second and hit full boost but right have to upshift into 3rd. he than pulls a car length on me(still needing to learn how to brake boost) and once i hit full boost in 3800, am right at his doors. He shuts it down right after and i lost to him by half a car,:nono: but if we kept going into 4th i think i would of beaten him.
I'll Race him again next wk!
Than this Evo that i've been keeping an eye on for a wk or two. Just wanted to race him and everytime i see him i was either breaking in my car or just not race ready. Well today i see him again.
I pull up next to him and like you wanna race? he's like "you want me to race with nitrous or without?" am like whatever you want. So then he's like chickenin out and all, "naw man i dont wanna race you, Wat all you got into that thing." am like just like lots of stuff. lol. And he's :aigo: . So i tell him to pull ova and he can check out the setup. He does, he shows me his and tells me he doesnt have the nitrous. So am like cool, You wanna run em anyways. He's like yah, i'll run ya at 22psi, 3' exhaust, and intake. Am like sweet, this should be good. Its a f*cking Evo.
So we line up at a roll at about 40mph. and 3rd honk. he pulls a car length on me, again i just cant get a good start from second. and once i hit full boost in 3rd. Just pull like 4 car lenghts on him. am like d*mn, first win in the supra and a damn good car to beat.
All in all, the T/A should go down next wk!
Mods:Stock Bottom End with Titan 2.0mm mhg, stock head w/ street p&p, 3" back, to4e turbo w/ upgraded 60-1 wheel, 2 core greddy IC, Ron's FFIM with Q45, MK4 fuel pump, 680cc, VPC-SAFC setup running at 17Psi w/ 10.5ish A/F... need to get a little better tune tho.
