Ok to start i'll list my mods first. 1jzgte engine out of a jza70, single turbo, 680cc delphi injectors, 4'' exhaust system turbo back, intercooler and 3'' hardpipes all around. I'm gonna be running an emanage ultimate with a plug and play harness from boomslang but it's not plugged in yet, the cars just on the stock ecu. The problem i'm having is this: the car starts and idles fine but when i go raise the rpms via throttle it doesn't want to rev, it cuts out. it was able to rev to about 2k but now it cuts out at as soon as u tap the gas pedal. You can hear the intake sucking air but for some reason it doesn't respond at all meaning that it doesn't want to rev. When i say it cuts out it doesn't pop or stall or anything it just doesn't want to rev. Tried moving the tps to different positions but that didn't help. tried another map sensor that didn't help. Could the injectors be dumping too much fuel or are these symptoms of a bad tps or something else. Car shows no codes by the way. Just won't rev, but idles fine. Any input is appreciated.

did you adjust the tps properly? your prolly gonna have to do it properly now to set it right. also i think with those mods the ecu maybe a bit overwhelmed im not sure how well that ecu would handle the set up you have now. do you have smoke out the exhaust? how rich is it running at idle? fuel pressure? your igniter good?

ignitor's good, tps i'll have to adjust it again tomorrow and see. but i think what you said is true about the ecu being overwhelmed. it is running rich, very rich. i'm gonna get a base map for the emanage tomorrow hopefully and see if that helps.

checked timing and it's fine. adjusted the tps again and got the same symptoms. i think it just needs to get tuned. the factory ECU can't handle the bigger injectors well enough and it's flooding out. Cause now the car actually bogs down and cuts off. I can hear like a popping in the exhaust and then the motor bogs down and shuts off.

adjusting the tps on my dads car changed the way it idled and revved, but when i moved my tps on my car it does nothing at all, doesn't change the way car idles or revs. Could that be a problem as well?

Factory injectors are 370 and you are running 680

The car wil idle fine but when you want to revv it wil run PIG rich and will not revv and dy


I am running 550 CC with the greddy emanage blue unit and i had the same problem with only factory ecu

Car will idle fine butt when i want to revv its geting to much fuel

Doe you have an wideband kit ? then you wil see how rich the car is when you want to revv

I was able to revv the car iff i just step on the gas with 550 CC injectors

Idle is no problem bacause the o2 sensor has an correction for idle

It wil put the idle to 14.7 even with 550 CC are 680 CC injectors

You wil be fine if you just tunen the car with injector correction on the greddy unit Like 370 Tot 680

Then you will be able to just cruise with tha car WTHOUT load (no boost)
