ok, so i can find out barely any pics or information about the 1gz-fe. if anyone can find out any info on this please help. thanks. i know that they come out with 280hp and 10.5:1 compression. mainly what im wanting to know is where can i find one for sale and how much?!?!

well a 2j fits in the compartment with some adjustment, and that gz looked like it was squozed into the mk4 plenty tight so id say itll fit, but with a tad more jiggling than a 2j.

haha, yes i seen it in super street. haha, and that made me almost orgasum... i came up with the idea of pretty much changing everything, by getting the ferrari conversion body kit for 5k and finding one of these motors and somehow someway, sticking it in there with the 6speed tranny...
There are 2 guys in Australia doing 1GZ swaps into A80s, as well as Top Secret Japan did one too.
that article also read there is basically no aftermarket support for the engine, they had to custom everything. so custom parts + $90k engine from a car only sold it japan = big hole in pocket... but if you got the money, id love to see it done
These engines are often spoken for before they even get to junkyards. If a Century crashes, Toyota knows and buys it back, or someone in Japan nabs it up pretty damn quick.
