15 inch Steel rims

I was wondering if anyone has tried to use older steel camary rims for drag tires? The stock 15in steelies fit my car, its just the lugs that are the prob.(sawblade lugs are really long, i need shorter ones.) What type do u guys think would work? And were to get them? When I worked at Checker auto parts, they sold lugnuts that were not the decorative type, they have holes all the way through.

I could be wrong, but aren't camry rims going to be the wrong offset/bolt pattern? I thought the camry wheels used the smaller celica bolt patern.

Camry bolt pattern is 5x114.5 and Celicas are 5x100 i think.

Ya you are right. I've have 4 celicas I should know!!! I have no clue on the camry thow. I know that eclipse bolt pattern is 5x114.5 like the supra.

Thanx for lug info, i did mention that the steel 15in rims fit my 86.5 its just the lugs hang out a mile. Good for slicks? Thanx as always, Shelby

yeah, as long as the offset is ok.... just measure and make sure nothing will rub

I just tried the 15`s on the rear and nothing was close to scrape or rub. Maybe fronts run diferent offsets? I dont know. It was a 90`s camary if that helps? Looks funny with 185/60/15`s on a supra but i want to run slicks on those rims.
