Need a few opioins on a car i am thinking about buying. The car is a; pre 89, n/a, 5 speed, and a hardtop. The bad parts are; a. Bhg and b. Rust is starting to set in. So wise supra owners is $100 for a running supra with a bhg ok? I havent had the experence with supra head work, so is doing a head gasket hard?

You really had to ask on a supra forum?
$100 is chump change for a car with only a bhg, N/a is a little more work getting to the head but it's not hard if you're willing to learn.
...not sure it's any more work, really...just a few extra bolts.

but 100 bucks for a car that runs is a deal..certainly one that you already have a decent knowledge of and that can be fixed and made reliable on a modest budget

I'm picking it up sat or sun:naughty: Yeah the guy was going to to a turbo on a n/a, but ran out of money and time.(did not touch it),or the scrap pile. I'm getting it! So far i have bought an 86.5 for $200 and now a 88 for $100:naughty: The supras are coming to me finally. Depending on body shape i mite part the interior only, its grey cloth. Gonna make an auto-x car. Thanx for mixed review on doing bhg's!!! N/A FTW!!!!!!!!
