clutch issue

Im writing this at 2 am. recently my transmission gave out. Clutch pedal lost pressure and won't go into gear (obviously). I jacked it up and took the inspection plate off where I was able to see that everything (bearings and such) just hanging there. does anyone know what could've caused this...

Hi, guys. I got a 1989 7mge and i am having a intermitted issue with the clutch, it was changed to a stage 2 and sat for about 6 months. sometimes depressing the clutch in 1st she'll whine a little till engaged sometimes she wont, also sometimes she'll be fine while driving under heavy load...
