+1 for lextreme.com - alot of good general info and swap specific info
v-eight.com - technical forum for UZ series motor
Also talk to cjsupra90 for more input
Congrats!
As far as the O2, If I remeber right from your wiring diagram, your getting your O2 input from the factory O2 connector at the ECU. Narrowband O2 sensors tend to fluctuate greatly outside of a very narrow window of 14.7:1
Would recommend you pickup a wideband O2 (like the LC-1 from...
Resistance rises as the VAF opens. Not sure if that also means voltage rises or falls. But the "hint" also states resistance changes in a wave pattern. Hope this link helps:

I have never ran the MAFTPro in Translator mode, only AFC and speed density. So everything I say might be wrong, but I looked at your log.
Your LS1 MAF appears to be wired corrected and your log shows a stable FI from the LS1 MAF. But what I did find interesting is the output from Vout 1...
Yup, that me. But since my AFM is pretty much the same as the 7MGTE's I use their settings for the F-out and change my low/mid/high to about 30/60/95.
Bob, you know I'm willing to test anything
I have had no major issues with my MAFTPro and completely enjoy it. Just ask some of the mkIII's I ran in the modified class at TX2K6, and I was still pig rich because I hadn't even finished adjusting at that time :nono: .
But I have definantly learned a little more about ECU operations and...
I am not familiar with the FCO, but isn't that the purpose of the "Freq out max" setting? To limit the maximum frequency(hz) that the ECU would see from what it thinks is the AFM. Unless fuel cut can also be triggered by oem sensors that the MAFTPro doesn't control.
Again I am not familiar...
Is the brown wire from the 10 pin connector spliced to the Air temp signal (THA) wire going to the ECU? If so, double check the connection.
This may be the cause of the Code 24-Intake air temp signal
Never mind.
I went stright to the VE table and made all my adjustments from there. Although it is still a little rich, it is sufficient for the now. Dyno time now scheduled for next week.
I am finally switching my MAFTPro from AFC to speed desity mode this weekend and I want to make sure I havefully understood the new directions and posts I have read on this forum. I have setup according to the Quick Setup guide already.
1 - For low rpm/ low load/ light throttle tuning in...
Grimjack-yup, bypass NSW(what I did) or go standalone
X-man - yup about 225 hp and 235 ft/lbs without spray
jmcboost - true, but it's also not running 29 psi, I could only imagine what it could do with that:evil2:
Oh yea! 1200 HP @ 35psi on a 1UZ...
Let's see
For a MkIII you'll want a 1UZ from a SC400 (rear sump) with as many accessories as possible (including ecu, ignitors, alt, ps pump, AFM, etc.)
Fab mounts and probably headers/exhaust.
Wiring is relatively easy as most come off the motor into a single loom straight to the ECU. Alt...
Thanks!
I do agree with cjsupra90 about the torque. The throttle response is great, and yes supraturbo90, I love the sound:D.
There are some companies starting to come onboard for aftermarket support, but most are Australia/New Zealand based at the moment. For a TT setup custom would be...
The 1UZ is a very well engineered motor but the aftermarket support is not as well developed as say the 2JZ. Has alot of potential. Mine in a MkII won the smaller MkI-III Mod class at TX2K6. Lextreme.com is an excellent source of info. Bellhousing companies are Castlemaine Rod Shop and...
:D
Thanks, but as much time that I spent and as many headaches that I've given my wife....
she would kill me :bigun2: and I have to keep her happy, she is the queen of the house  :biggrinki
