Ok I got my head back from the shop a few days ago. They left the valve stem seals in and for the life of me I cannot remove them. I've been fighting them for a few hours with needle nose vise grips to no avail. Any tips or tricks to doing this?

Got mine at Pull A Part. Tore it down and rebuilt it (did not need too was damn near perfect). They aren't bulletproof though. 7M is just as good provided you take care of it but all engines are this way. 2JZ overall was just a newer design.
Ok I did the a340e to w58 swap and the tach doesn't work now. I'm assuming it was driven off of the automatic. Is there an easy way to fix this? This is for a Cressida and I know it isn't a supra but the drivetrain was pulled from an 89 N/A MK3 so don't flame me :biglaugh: .
