the diypnp won't work with the 7m stock components because on the diypnp you cannot run the stepper and semi-sequential injection. If you want a real plug and play, 88- or 89+, look at my MS3Pro based plug and play.

I have a jdm mk3 and I had exactly this problem. I'm trying to find the website that explain this with pictures but I'm not able.

Where is your bov? The fireball happen after bov open. If there is methanol in the piping and bov is shotting near exhaust manifold, that may cause a fireball?

I had a MS1 v3 on my 1jz with stock sensor except the trigger wheel on the crank was modified.
I ran the stock 1jz ignitor but with 7m coils pack because the 1j ignitor can't drive 2 coils at the same time.
Now I'm 2jz and everything runs perfectly with the exactly same set-up and stock...
