Possible BHG or cracked head? HELP

IJ thank you for the response, I appreciate it. There's gas coming out of the motor on the turbo side. I can't tell if its coming directly from where the head and the block meet but its in that area. Would a stuck injector cause enough pressure to do this? I would have not considered a mating...

    Downpipe upgrade

I run the DDP non recirculated and I live in Cali. I don't really have much problems but then again I don't really step on it for it to be really noisy. I've driven right next to cops a few different times and as long as I am not going crazy they don't even look twice. The only problem I have...

    Electrical Problems *No Power anywhere*

so just to give an update for those that are wondering and for those that looked around. I tested the connection on both sides of the alt fuse and one side read +12V and the other read a little bit less. What I did notice was that after I rebolted the fuse back up one of my bolts for the fuse...

    Electrical Problems *No Power anywhere*

I was not aware that there was a fusible link as well, I see the reference on the TSRM but the actual link I am unsure of where it is located. You mentioned "the base of the ALT fuse is immediately after the fuseable link.." the ALT fuse goes bolted to two wires that go to the body harness...

    Electrical Problems *No Power anywhere*

Dan thanks for the advice. I have a 7MGTE, my apologies for not specifying that earlier. where the fusible link goes on the turbo model there is an ALT fuse which has been replaced. Is this what you were refering to? I tested my battery voltage and it is at a steady 11.5volts.

    Idle problem

Code 13 is RPM signal per the TSRM, it would be dealing with your CPS signal. Check the wires around the CPS to make sure they are not loose or brittle and need replacement. Code 52 is a knock sensor code. This code normally means the wiring for the knock sensors is bad. I am not sure if...

Code 42 and Rough Idle, Car leans out pass 2k and 3500RPM

3p thank you for the heads up on that and the lesson. I just got back from working on the car once again and you are correct. I installed the pulsation dampener back on the car and my lean spots disappeared. The miss sounds like it is still there but it is not as prominent, I will know more when...

Code 42 and Rough Idle, Car leans out pass 2k and 3500RPM

forgive my negligence but how would the fuel dampener adjust the lean spots on the power range? I am not saying you would be wrong just trying to understand the correlation between the two. I also checked my TPS tonight and it is within specs per the TSRM, and also checked the ISC Valve. when i...
