I'm also trying to decide between a 4.30 or a 3.909. I do track the car 1/4 mile but also street drive it. What do most of you guys suggest.

I have wanted to post here for a while and she is finally complete just need to get it to the dyno and i can enjoy her for a bit.

im not really worried that the belt will snap, i know that it will stretch though and i dont really want that.

does anyone know if gates or greddy make a black racing belt. i dont want one because they are blue. im aiming for 500hp so i will put a blue one in if i cant get it in back because i dont want to take a chance of it braking.

HAHAHA.... i am a mechanic for toyota and you should see the things i see from other shops. i had a customer come in with a blown headgasket on a car and when i took it all apart i found the gasket had bin siliconed back in. Talk to the customer and he said a privite shop replace it a few weeks...

i bet someone siliconed the water pump at some point and used way too much of it.

i will give it a try i just ordered a few 90 and 45 degree fittings and im going to keep playing around untill i get it. how many degrees do you think the return can be clocked from straight down

ya that what i think i have to do i just cant seem to get it the without putting a 90 degree bend. would it be bad to put a 90 right off the turbo?

Hi i have been trying to complete my gt35R turbo set up for a bit know. my only problem is getting the oil return from the turbo to the block cleanly. so if anyone has used this manifold before and can help me out a bit that would be amazing

it is an even cheaper manifold also from china, i dont know who makes it i got it off someone local in Toronto, Canada.

sorry brain fart, so i guess the manifold wont work, i just like this one because of where the wastegate sat, it looked good when you popped the hood. thanks for your help

i guess i didnt really think it through very well... i was thinking as long as its on the return side of the filter might work... but i guess no matter what its under pressure

so it looks like i might have to go with a different manifold... unless anyone know if i can run it inline with the oil filter relocation kit????

it does thats what i was asking if its ok for it to have that slight step up? the only other way i was thinking of was to tee into where the return line is on the oil filter housing since i am running a relocation filter. or is that no good either?

sorry to jump into this tread with my own issues but this is my problem... here are a few pics: as you can see i have some clearance issues to go to the stock oil return. if i put the hose on its does a little up before the block. as far as i know gravity wont push up. so i was thinking of...

are you againt using it because of the diameter of the fitting?
