now my question is at what point is the surface too rough to get by with just the brake quiet spray and i should just get the block and head...

see, right on the surface! does this mean that the block hasn't been machined before? anyone have these marks still after machining?
the numbers are stamped 222122 from cyl 1-6, same as on the pan rail.

it already had a mhg, my question was do i need to resurface to reuse the mhg.
the same codes that are stamped ontol the pan rail are stamped across the surface of my block, one next to each cyl, i'll get a pic.
