My Supra does this too, as did my old Camry. Can be annoying, for one reason because non-Toyota mechanics will often take the key out and leave the radio on! But I also kind of like it because I can unlock the glove box to get out my faceplate and RD detector while I'm warming up my car.

Thanks for the advice but I guess maybe there is something wrong with it. I cleaned and oiled it really well and it the magazine won't slide in properly even with no bullets in it.
