My Supra does this too, as did my old Camry. Can be annoying, for one reason because non-Toyota mechanics will often take the key out and leave the radio on!
But I also kind of like it because I can unlock the glove box to get out my faceplate and RD detector while I'm warming up my car.
I didn't want to take the wiper arm off because my hatch doesn't hold itself up and it would require taking off interior trim, which I've already broken a couple different pieces of. At this point it seems impossible to get the screw out without killing the threads. I guess I'll be going the...
I just picked up my new rear windshield blade from the dealership, and I am not having good luck getting out one of the old screws. First, I shaved the edges of the phillips screw trying to get it out, so I used a saw to make an indentation to fit in a flat head screwdriver. I unscrewed it, and...
I got a Glock 23 today. It's a compact so the magazine only holds 13, but it can fit the same mags as other .40 Glocks so I can get mags that hold 15 (or 17?).
I looked at this and a S&W M&P and the Glock fit my hands very good, although the M&P would have too because it had 3 different grips...
Well my brand new Ruger is indeed broken. The shop owner said he had never seen anything like that before and sent it out to Arizona for me. The local Ruger factory couldn't even look at it because they don't do pistols. I'll have it back in 4 to 6 weeks.
I will definitely never buy a Ruger...
Thanks for the advice but I guess maybe there is something wrong with it. I cleaned and oiled it really well and it the magazine won't slide in properly even with no bullets in it. I guess I'll have to call Ruger tomorrow. They have a factory about 20 minutes from me so maybe I can take it there...
Hi I'm wondering if anyone might be able to tell me what is wrong with my brand new pistol. I don't really know anyone who is into guns but I know that some people on SM know a lot about them. I've never owned or fired any handguns accept for revolvers but last week I bought a Ruger P95 9MM...
Holy shit dude. I just got my score a few weeks ago from freecreditreport and have almost the exact same score; just one point different. The more you use your card the higher your score will get. Just pay online and you can guarantee not to have any late payments.
I just applied for a card...
I think these are 18x9's but I'm not sure because they came with the car and I haven't had a chance to measure with them without the tires in the way.
235/40's all around
Thanks man. When I brought it to the dealer the other day they only found a couple hundred dollars worth of repairs: Leaking transmission fluid, the bolt in the differential is loose because the threads are stripped (not just the bolt, but inside the actual differential), and something else they...
The previous owner was really nice and he may actually be on supramania so i wouldn't want to say anything bad. I know he had a second 89 Supra that he was doing an engine swap with.
BUT, less than a thousand miles after I bought the car, I brought it to a Toyota Dealer with a really bad noise...
Wow, thanks for the very detailed response, I'm aiming to find a good deal on some Boston Acoustics on ebay for the doors, as I've always heard good things about them. I'm not sure what I'll do for the subwoofers yet, for I'll have to see how much I want to spend once I get a steady income this...
Thanks for clarifying the speaker sizes. Every thread on this subject seems to give different sizes for the rear speakers.
I really want a nice sounding system in my car. I used to have a Camry with 3.5 Infinity Kappa's in the front and 6.5 Infinity Kappa components in the rear. I didn't have...
