TPS Voltage Drop when Accessories are on.

Robert, I would do a cable from current battery ground to block ground, then one from block ground to fender/fender apron ground point. Id also put one from ECU manifold ground to where firewall ground strap bolts to head. If you arent already, Id put Maft-Pro ground on intake with ECU ground...

When Making an FFIM, what do you do about volume???

Hi Scott. For a boosted app, volume isnt as important. Smaller is probably better, lessvolume=less lag. Remember, you will be driving around off boost most of the time, so if you size same as stock, you should retain some of the cylinder filling characteristics of stock engine.

    Testing VF,confusing results...

An update-A different wire harness, with matching FI temp switch and time switch, cured my rich restart issue. My issue was the same as Buddafucos, and BWests. My car now operates correctly, maintaining stoich, and producing VF readings. Suspect harness, as sensors were repeatedly...

    Testing VF,confusing results...

Yes to piggyback, afc-neo. Wire harness is repaired, car now throws code 22. Have no good EFI temp sensors in parts closet, picking one up tomorrow. Antifreeze in harness never made it past spill point, about 6 inches of harness length. Checked each connection in harness after repair, including...

    Testing VF,confusing results...

Buddafuco, I have same problem as you. I am going to test voltages cold and hot at ecu and post results. I drove my car for weeks with a voltmeter taped to dash showing vfs, and current behavior is NOT normal. My vf readings had always reflected my cars tune, IE, too much fuel at afpr and...

    Dumped Antifreeze into Wiring Harness

UPDATE-2 bad connections in harness. 1, obviously, was o2 sensor wire. Second was ground join for EFI Temp switch. Obvious in retrospect. Antifreeze contributed to second, but not first. So, I must have pulled on O2 wire while doing work on heater valve. Live and learn.

    Dumped Antifreeze into Wiring Harness

Title says it all-Dumped a pint or so directly onto/into wiring harness. Car runs, but there is no O2 feedback like normal, and Vfs never modify, no matter how lean or rich I adjust fuel at AFPR, or with SAFC. Car has 2 operating modes. #1-Start engine. AFRs start and stay high-16.1-16.5. No o2...

    Part Throttle Boost Concerns

No airflow controller, yet. I have been running premium since upping boost last year, and still have EGR. TPS has been set to tsrm spec with feeler gauges and a test harness I made from old wiring pieces. I daily drive this beast, and have 27k or so on it in last two years. Thanks to everyone...

    Part Throttle Boost Concerns

My concern is that 14.7 a/f at any length of time under 10 pounds of boost is bad for power and durability.

    Part Throttle Boost Concerns

Long time lurker, first time poster. Ive done some datalogging on my 7MGTE, and have noticed something that concerns me. I can get 10 pounds of boost at 30-50% throttle, and the stock ECU wants to maintain stoich in closed loop. I have trouble believing that this is good. Some notes on...
