it's not about the weight, it's about the length of the shafts, 2 pc is much shorter (because they are balanced individually, not as a single unit) hence easier to balance ;)
the balancing is all about making sure the critical speed of the shaft is above/outside the operating speeds the shaft...
not even remotely rare, I think I've seen more JZA70 TT-R's than I've seen JZA70 Limiteds or "standards"
also as stated previously, ABS was an option on them, but I have only personally seen one that actually had it optioned in.

bridge te1 and e1 in the diag port, turn key, but don't try to start car, count flashes from CEL, search and find list of error codes and what they mean ;)
who said anything about using an e-fan?
and I already stated the Z30 is closer to the A80. As for the Z20, they never had a JZ motor in them from the factory, only the 1G or the 7M
