Is an HX35 the one for a 12 valve cummins?

Last time I drove it in february I burnt some wiring on the passenger side of the engine. Just got around to temporarily redoing some of the wiring and got it fired up today to see if I could find the cause. Sounds like cracked exhaust housing on the CT26.

Personally with my Cometic gasket and ARP bolts, I boosted but only stock boost until the re torque. The ARP bolts came with a paper that had the torque spec and when to re torque.

My cams were scored. Some fine grit sand paper cleaned up the journals nicely. Machine shop cleaned up the head and caps at no cost with my head machining.

Its a composite gasket that compresses when tightened down. Its made completely differently than a multi layer gasket.

I think i saw that on craigslist once.

Most likely just the battery. A shorted battery can render the alternator ineffective.
