Removed mine last weekend too had to cut the tie rod ends in half in order to to remove it, what a difference in handling compared to the old ones. Make sure you get it aligned so you dont get in an accident (it could really happen)w/o alignement.

89+have plastic end links the 86to 88 have the metal ones.

Its not a bushing its a seat that goes under the bushing inside the shifter hole, and sits on the very botom. 7bucks my cost.:)

I noticed the the difference between n/a and turbo heads, that the n/a head has some bronze coating inside of it, were tubo head doesnt, does it mean anything? Thanks

Mine has problems:) everytime i have to reach to pull the gas cap lever, at the same time I have to reach under the rear seat to pull on the cable to get the line tightened, so it will open.

Toyota is your best bet and if you strip the bolts use helicoil, it helps
