Alright everyone only serious answers on this one please I know this has been on other threads but I just want personal opinions on how to create a 400hp+ reliable 7mgte thanks :1zhelp:
I heard that you can dramatically increase block cooling with drilling some more block cooling passages. This methods looks similar to how the 2jz is designed
Heres a link to that upgrade http://www.supracarparts.com/info/?p=35
Comparing 2JZ block to 7m
The 7m is missing some coolant...
I have some Megan Ez Streets for the mk3 and these are very reasonable for price and performance. The damping can be really stiff for light track use on 9-15 settings and if set around 6-7 it would make a comfortable daily driver. Here are some pics
totally agree with suprarx7nut. I notice a slight improvement in performance when I upgrade my exhaust to 3in pipping with high flow cat and it sounds fairly aggressive without going overboard.
One of my friends have 01 MDX bose speakers and they sound very good, Im thinking of doing the same setup since its more cost effective then buying aftermarket. sorry cheap mk3 owner :biglaugh:
Yeah I think you can build a custom tems that would fit the megans so you can adjust damping in the cabin but at the moment I dont think anyone has tried this idea
Hi everyone, Im planning on getting my 92 supra to a reliable 350hp. My current mods are
3in hks hi power exhaust, weapon R intake, mishimoto thermostat, rebuilt ct26, hks turbo timer, megan ez street coilovers.
I was driving my 92 supra turbo yesturday and saw a little bit of white smoke. I thought it was a bhg but instead it was coming from my turbo. When I removed the turbo it didnt have any shaft play but I notice there is a small hairline crack in the exhaust housing. Im thinking of buying a ebay...
I was planning to go with BC coilovers because I hear alot of good reviews about how good they are on the track and road use but Im sort of a cheap mk3 owner :biglaugh: .and have other problems to worry about so went with Megan coilovers to save to pesos and get other parts fixed on my car.
So my original ct26 turbo has a crack along the exhaust side on my 92 supra at 169k which is pretty good for lasting 20+ years of abuse. Now Im on the hunt for replacement ct26 and I was wondering how ebay ct26 are? Have you used them before or know someone that has? Are they reliable? Im open...
I just installed the front two and they look great starting on putting the back tomorrow, I believe you can customize the stock tems on the supra to work with the megans so you can adjust your damping.
