Totally agree that it happens. My second mechanic was much better, just didn't have a ton of experience with supras, he worked on the car for 8 hours and only charged me for 2.5 because he felt bad that he couldn't get it going for me.

My apologies, forgot to mention it. Only modifications that the motor has are that billet compressor wheel, arp studs, metal headgasket, shimmed oil pump with aftermarket remote cooler setup, silicone intake (replaced accordian hose), and a k&n fipc. All else is bone stock.

car wasn't throwing codes at the time of post but i checked again today after checking out the AFM and its not throwing 24 and 31, I assume one is because I ran the car without the AFM for a minute or so
Any tips for cleaning AFM? I've heard to use electrical contact cleaner as opposed to sensor cleaner as it can coat certain parts in a film? Should I take it completely apart or just out of the car?
