last night i told my buddy to NOT drive the supra without putting some oil in it, due to thew fact that the front crank main seal is leaking, and of course he didnt listen and blew the motor..... a couple quick questions i have are: will any 7m bottom end work for the replacement? how hard...

problem fixed...... long story short, im an idiot and didnt see a broken connector hiding under the power-steering pump..... re-soldered a new connector on, and plugged it in. WORKS. thanks again you guys....

ok so there are 3 different connectors that go into the thermostat housing, what is each one's purpose?

ok, so after looking over the thermostat housing a bunch, i noticed a connector below the temp sensor was broken off, so i fixed that and it still doesnt work.... i cleaned up all the connections i could find...... WTF???

ok will do. also, the previous owner said the temp gauge would work for a min if he hit a bump on the passenger side...... thats what makes me think its the harness....

yeah i did the basic test already. i was just curious if there was any tricks before i tear apart the harness..... i grounded the connector with the car in the ON position and the gauge didnt move. so it looks like i just have to run along the wire and see whats going on.....
