still doesn't want to rev. Any more ideas? crank and cam sensors maybe?
I'm sorry for my poor English skill on the last reply, It made very little sense
got the stock injectors in the car it was a bad CTS that was giving me the cold start troubles still doesn't want to rev though, so That was going to be my next step when I have time is adjust the tp sensor. and I will let you know how it goes but it!
It look very nice! And it takes me a while to start but when it does idles at about 500-900 rpm smooth. It won't let me rev it I assume it is the code causing that because I got a new throttle position sensor(had a code for that to...now gone) so kinda lost now

I was just wondering if the diagnostic steps were the same for code 14 on a 1jzgte as the 2jzgte non vvt?
and if so what are the most common parts that need to be replaced as I have a tweed harness
thx for the help
the tweaked harness removes the cel but in placed puts a connector close to the ecu which you should be able to use to check for codes. at least that is how they wired my harness. the connector has two pins and it wont connect to anything behind the dash. look for something like that
I just did a 1JZ GTE soarer into my 1988 supra turbo got a harness from tweaked. I hooked it all up the cranked very well but it didn't turn the fuel pump on. then I wired in a fuel pump relay kit with a switch so the pump turns on when I flip a switch but now I noticed that im getting a code...
sorry for the late reply my internet was down and my phone wouldn't let me reply
last night I took the ecu apart just to see, found a blown cap in it,not sure if it was anything important but I went and got a new ecu today.
I'm going to test the circuits for the injectors tonight hopefully if...
so i checked my spark with a spark tester there was no spark but there is power at the connecters going to the coils.
l dont see any other ground wires that could be going to the intake that are not already connected
again there is power sitting at the connecters going to the injectors but...
Hey there not sure if this has already be talked about in a similar thread.
I have just done a 1988 supra 7m gte manual with a 1JZGTE swap. The motor was an automatic with a manual tranny. There were no wires on the tranny and the automatic wire harness was cut from the importer. I refered to...
I'm just starting my 1JZ swap, and i remember reading something about cutting a hole in the firewall instead of extend the harness.
I was just wondering if you can actually do so, and if so does anyone have pictures of were you would cut in the firewall to put the harness?
thx
88 supra turbo 7mgte idle surges now after trying to lower my idle which was at 3000rpm. i have replaced idle air controller, replaced tps, smoke test to see if there are any vacuum leaks. need help
