i really appreciate that man. Thing is, that actually confused me more, now i don't know what to think LOL. X2, now im just super confused. So all of this looks normal? i tried to push it in w/ a screw driver and didnt get any movement so i figured there is an issue in there. keep me...

R154 Throwout bearing/ clutch release issue *Video inside*

That would be amazing if you could do that. Last night i was thinking that maybe something unseated behind the PP and not letting it come back. If i could see another working tranny from the view of my video it would give me an idea as to what it's supposed do rather than just swing like mine...

R154 Throwout bearing/ clutch release issue *Video inside*

So, my parts guy brought me this and said that this is the throw out bearing and hub he has for all 1990 supras, turbo and non turbo. Im assuming the fork would go like this: I have a feeling that that part is for non turbos by looking at the diagram but its def listed as for both mk3...

R154 Throwout bearing/ clutch release issue *Video inside*

That makes sense, I'm just perplexed because it worked last year when I was on the stock twins. I found the kit with all the rings at the local parts supplier so ill give it a go and flip the hub from what it was in the video. I will update while everything is apart. But is that the throwout...

R154 Throwout bearing/ clutch release issue *Video inside*

Any suggestions as to where I should start? I'm gonna have the engine out of the car today and will be taking the tranny off. I'm gonna take a trip to the dealer for the hub and rings, possibly the parts store.

R154 Throwout bearing/ clutch release issue *Video inside*

Also, was there that much room for it to move? I feel like either there is a ring in there thats missing like you said or the clutch hub should be shorter. The little things like this have been killing me, I'm ready to scrap this whole thing over the million small issues

I should have seen it laying in the bell housing though right? Can you point it out in this diagram? I really have no idea where to go on this

R154 Throwout bearing/ clutch release issue *Video inside*

Bleeding is not the issue, that arm in the video is supposed to separate the clutch from the flywheel by pulling back on that throwout bearing hub. The issue is that the hub looks over extended or someone mentioned to me that it is missing a snap ring? Should that throwout bearing be returning...

R154 Throwout bearing/ clutch release issue *Video inside*

I've been trying to bleed my clutch for over 5 hours and couldn't get any pressure in the clutch pedal. Even though i had no more air in the lines, the pedal would still just drop to the ground. I took the slave off the tranny and when i re installed it, the clutch was super stiff. I went ahead...

1jz aftermarket oil pressure sender location. Intake or exaust side?

It's in a BMW e36 m3. So a lot of the info I find is specific to a Toyota chassis so it's been a journey of trial and error but I think I finally got it. It looks amazing in the bay, just gotta iron out the small details. Did you get my PM?

1jz aftermarket oil pressure sender location. Intake or exaust side?

Well I need to leave on wed. To an event and am gonna crank on Saturday. If I run in to a problem, its something that could take me a while to figure out and would be in danger of not making it to the event which would be devastating as this is a demo car. If you have some time on Sunday or...

1jz aftermarket oil pressure sender location. Intake or exaust side?

Thanks guys! It looks like it's a 26mm deep socket actually, which of course I didn't have yesterday. You guys as right about the heat over there, intake side is def the way to go. I actually bought a sunpro metric to standard adapter and the fitting labeled m12 fits even though I know it isn't...

1jz aftermarket oil pressure sender location. Intake or exaust side?

Thanks guys, I'll try a deeper 24mm. Just out of curiosity, will it work on the blocked off oil feed on the exhaust side? Will the gauge give an accurate reading? I don't see why not, and it would be a lot easier since it's more exposed. Then again I figured there might be a reason why I don't...

1jz aftermarket oil pressure sender location. Intake or exaust side?

So I'm going with a PLX oil pressure sender to use with their multi gauge system in conjunction with their wideband. All the research I've done says that I need to use the one wire sensor next to the ac compressor. I tried to get a 24mm over it but it wouldn't fit. So my question is, can I...

    Oil line question for single

Thanks man, I'll rip out the oil lines. You've helped me out before and I really appreciate it. The issue I'm having is that the bolts that hold the turbo to the manifolds wouldn't budge and actually rounded off after pb blaster and a butane torch so I'm forced to remove the mani and turbos off...

    Oil line question for single

Hey fellas, I'm gearing up for a single conversion and my oh my are those twins stuck on that manifold. I wanted to remove the turbos and then do the 6 bolts holding the mani to the head but they didn't budge. With a 5 foot cheater bar, all I did was completely take the ridges off the...
