    Rear end Clunk

New one piece for $200? If that's true I might have to start making a few calls around town. I was reading through the thread earlier. If I don't end up going for a one piece I'll definitely look into it. How annoying would you consider doing that for someone who has minimal fabricating skills?

    Rear end Clunk

Well, I went under and all the bolts holding the diff to the frame seemed to be in good order. I did however find that I could rotate my driveshaft just a smidge by hand creating a audible noise. I could also wiggle it all around inside the center support driveshaft bearing. I'm going to go out...

    Rear end Clunk

I'm kind of hoping I crawl under there tomorrow and that it's something as simple as that. My drive-train has a has a certain "slop" to it since I bought it and that solid clank I get when I go from off throttle to on the throttle just makes me cringe.

    Rear end Clunk

I have a loud clunk/clank on accel, decel, and shifting... It's a 91 NA but it looks like I'll be checking them bolts tomorrow :S The previous owner has turned out to a be a award winning moron regarding work done on the car so I wouldn't be surprised.

    How is caster adjusted?

I brought my car in for an alignment at PepBoys and they did not adjust caster as they said they didn't know how and that it wasn't possible. I think I remember multiple users here saying they had changed theirs so I was curious how it was done. The alignment guys didn't seem to understand...

    Supra intake hard pipe?

I was considering finding a hard pipe solution for my GE intake due to the fact that mine is falling apart as well as being bulky and ugly as hell. How much of a negative effect would an aftermarket solution have on the intake in your opinion. Would it decrease horsepower and fuel efficiency?

    Which V8 for the MKIII?

What LS motor did you go with and how difficult was the swap?

A few front control arm bolt/washer questions.

No worries. As long as I know I'm putting things back correctly, I'm happy. I'm right off Broward and 95.

A few front control arm bolt/washer questions.

Alright that makes enough sense to me, I appreciate the response! When tightening the long bolt it seems that the inner sleeve protrudes the tiniest bit so that the washer doesn't press on the bushing as much as I thought it would.

A few front control arm bolt/washer questions.

I know the lower cam washers are flat. I also know the upper washers are not flat. Being so, I need to know which way they face since it will either press more on the inner sleeve, or alternatively on the rest of the bushing but not the sleeve. Hmm, now I have two conflicting answers. If...

A few front control arm bolt/washer questions.

Alright, hopefully someone else can chime in and confirm. I've seen this same question asked elsewhere in the forums but without an answer.

A few front control arm bolt/washer questions.

Thanks! I was rummaging through the TSRM diagrams but somehow missed that one. That solves my lower cam bolt question. As for the upper washers, I just got two new ones (last ones available in the country!), and they come with that shape and are not a result of being over torqued. So in my...

A few front control arm bolt/washer questions.

I'm currently in the process of reassembling my front suspension and I have a couple questions regarding the upper and lower control arm bolts/washers. On the upper control arm bolts there are those two convex/concave washers and I'm not sure if they install so that the recessed part of the...

    help with front strut

I'm reassembling my front suspension and would like to know this is as well... I'm guessing it should be metal to metal and not metal to bushing?

    Unsolvable Slight Missfire.

Nevermind, I'm an idiot. I somehow just blanked over the last part of his post yet read the rest of the responses, my mistake. Looks like injectors are next on my list of things investigate.

    Unsolvable Slight Missfire.

I'm interested in seeing what the problem ends up being myself as my 91 NA has the same problem. When at idle and lower rpm's it stutters like that. I haven't even bothered trying to figure it out though as I have bigger problems.

    poly subframe bushings kit

Hmm. I may go with the ES F5 as it's been widely used with success but I may grab some of the Polybushing stuff as well for when I do the rear just to try it out. Thanks for the input/suggestions.

    poly subframe bushings kit

I saw your post before. Out of curiosity what other lubes did you try before you settled on that one and how did you hear about them? I was trying to decide between the stuff you posted or ES's Formula 5 Prelube. Once I put all this together I don't want to have to pull it all back out again to...

Tell me about it. Now I just need to figure out what is the best lube to buy for all these trinkets.

    poly subframe bushings kit

Hey Ronnie, another quick question. The little top-hats on top of the front subframe sleeves that go against the frame rail... Do I put those back in or leave them out when I re-install. I've seen people say both and wanted your opinion. Do they make a difference at all or are they just a buffer...
