Its an 88, with the 7M-GTE B.P.U. just hit 99,000 miles so it will be sad to not see it hit 100,000 :( but who knows maybe I can find something else to drop it in to. But yeah when I get the swap going I would realy appreciate the help seeing as this would be my first. Ill let you know when it...

I know it comes with ecu, Im not sure about igniter. But aside for fluids, plugs and wires, and belts. What is smart to replace while the motor is out? And im not sure if I got the answer in detail but. After I pull the 7M out, and get everything preped to drop the JZ in, being the car a 88...

    1JZ cant wait

Yeah, I understand there are the things like that. But I am looking at a jz out of a jza70, with the tranny and uncut wiring harness for 1500. The exhaust wont be a problem, I have the front mount intercooler, and piping. I already planned on a upgrading the clutch and flywheel. And I plan on...

    1JZ cant wait

Alright cool, yeah I figure I will need a couple hundred more for the random stuff that comes up during the swap. Since my supra is pre 89, I know I will need the new motor mounts, but seeing as the crossmember isnt the same as the 89 and above...

    Overheating:(

All the hoses are good. The head gasket was replaced 10,000 miles ago, and it doesnt do it all the time. It will be running fine, and when im just coasting in neutral it will jump and stay hot for a while. Would It be a good idea to flush the radiator, to check for air and air pocket...

    Overheating:(

I have a 88 Supra turbo, and the past week it has been overheating pretty bad about 5 minutes after it hits normal operating temp. I changed the thermostat today, and the same problem keeps happening. Any ideas would be appreciated.
