I had similar problem with battery draining last year. Then it would not start. After reading a couple of threads, I disconnected the factory alarm and grounded the one wire from alarm harness. Car start fine now and I parked the car for 5 weeks and it still start.

Can you try removing the starter relay located behind passenger kick panel and jump the terminal as I did? This is just to rule out the factory alarm issue. Check above the steering column under the dash near the firewall and see if there's a little black box.

I would like to thank everyone who read this thread and provided me with a guideline. The problem is solved after factory alarm was disconnected and blue/orange wire was grounded.

Thank you hvyman. Fount it. It's above the steering column. Had to tilt my head the right way. Don't I feel dumb. Will try grounding it tomorrow and update the result.

Have you tried another igniter? I had similar problem but in my case, the car died while going 65 on the highway. I would crank but won't start. I replaced the igniter and it fired right up.
