    Exhaust popping under acceleration

Ok everyone, I really appreciate you guys trying to help me out. Turns out the carrier bearing on my driveshaft had failed. The popping is my driveshaft hitting the bearing housing. I have an open downpipe that exits right beside the carrier bearing. I thought my exhaust was popping and got my...

    Silicone Intercooler "Hardpipes" Upgrade

Does anyone know anyone running this or have experience; possibly pics? This is an example of what I'm talking about. Someone has offered to sell me something like this. I don't quite understand how it fits together. Stock plastic pieces? Straight aluminum tubing? Any insight into this...

    Weird boost hesitation

I thought I hit fuel cut before when my car stuttered; I found out what fuel cut is when I put on a MBC got to 14 psi in 2nd gear on a CT26 and almost hit my head on the steering wheel from the force differential. I had a similar loss of power that was intermittent. Turned out my exhaust studs...

Reading an old thread today on helicoiling a hole that has already been helicoiled and it's looking like your suggestion of Twinserts by Stanley is going to save my ass. I have 2 failed helicoils above the number one and two cylinder exhaust ports. Thanks IJ.

What to expect when you're expecting.....A broken shift fork.

That's what I took from the diagrams. I feel like a dummy because I'm finally going to have access to a lift and a trans jack tomorrow but unfortunately I've been pouring over the W58 disassembley instructions for days in preparation not noticing the TSRM Manual Trans Index page. There doesn't...

What to expect when you're expecting.....A broken shift fork.

Thank you for the replay Bojangles, are you saying that I require a press to replace the shifter fork? Thank you for the suggestion as well. I was actually thinking of going ahead and replacing the 3-4 fork as well as the shifter socket bushings, throwout bearing, pilot bearing, and trans mount.

    Ic piping popping off

For a quick fix on bead rolling, hate to reference another forum but I've got Honda Love too. http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2922371 Do at your own risk obviously, but provides a very innovative possible solution.

What to expect when you're expecting.....A broken shift fork.

Hello everyone, thank you for taking the time to view my post. After missing 2nd and banging my shifter down into no mans land I'm almost positive I've broken my 1-2 Shift fork as I stated in a previous post in this section. From what I can tell it seems that would likely explain why I've...

How are your stores ammo shelves looking in your state?

Here in NC it's virtually impossible to get .22lr .32 .38 .25 9mil .357 .40 .45 7.62x39 5.56 NATO and especially one of my favorite rounds .30 Carbine to shoot from my 1943 M1 Carbine. It's amazing when you look at an ammo shelf at a major supplier and everything that's usually stacked to the...

Thanks for all that info Nick! When I get back home I'm definitely going to do the check on the CSI time switch. I'll get back to you on the fuel pressure when not on. I'd like to nail all this down. The explanation about the starter sounds correct I'll try to get a video or sound clip of it and...

Need best options for this wiring harness

+1 on fixing the wires. If you're willing to put the time in you can get decent quality wire and just remove one stand at a time from the main harness and replace it. Depending on how good you are at soldering you can actually carefully replace damaged strands and heat shrink over the quality...
