It was a "1990 toyota supra 400+ horsepower" he listed a lot of stuff done to it, like .20 over,coilovers,paint, just a huge list. Yes he owned this car for about 4 days.. and did all that to it in 4 days.. Im just trying to warn everyone, and ask for reciepts when buying a car!

Yea,crazy. The wiring is not hacked up what so ever. I did actually reground those wires on the intake manifold about 2 hours ago, and its been fine with that wire unhooked now. Im not positive it fixed it though because the grounds looked fine. I'm going to test the relay per TSRM with and...

Alright, with the wire unhooked from the fuse,wipers work fine. But the CEL doesnt comeon unless i turn stuff on like the headlights. It will not start when the CEL is not illuminated. Is this wire bypassing the main relay? Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Never thought of that,could be a possiblity. Oh, the fuse is still in, just with the wire like jammed under/on the side of it. I Figured that was giving direct power to that EFI wire covering up something. I will unplug it from the fuse panel and see if the wipers stop working, or if it runs...

So for all the wiring people out there, i have a question for you. There is a wire shoved in the wiper fuse in the fuse panel and then spliced using a scotch lock into the EFI MAIN RELAY(COIL) wire right before the ecu. My question is what is this doing? What sort of problem is being covered up...

If you do sell it without the wheels, how much would you want for them?

What i would do is make my own boom extension by going to a local machine shop or some place that has square stock lying around,buy the correct length, and drill the holes.

I wish i had a good job. I stand in a kitchen and make food for minimum wage.lol.

Little update. Things just keep getting better and better with this :aigo: I pulled the valve covers off to see what kind of shape the cams are in, they look like they are in very good shape, but i didnt see any markings or stamping of them being Brian Crowers. I started sanding the valve covers...

Ok, here are some pictures of the plugs. The first two pics are of the 2 plugs I had mentioned earlier, that are located near the ignitor plugs. The two after that are of the body plugs.

well after looking at some of the wiring i noticed there was shrink wrap around electrical tape wich didnt make sense. With closer inspection i found out that the previous owner is shady and all the connectors were cut and then just shrink wrapped back on? Not really sure what i am going to do...

Oh, alright, then i have the soarer ecu. There are 4 plugs left over when i plug the other 4 into the ecu, i will take a pic a little later, and pull my ecu and wiring out of the 89 and see how many there is (3 or 4). Thanks for the info!

It is a late 89, but im not sure if the motor is a jza70 or the soarer one. Is there a way to tell? Could you take a picture of the plugs? Thanks!
