I have to disagree in the case of the 7M.
Looking at the attached pic, the holes in the cam appear to match the 74° angular separation of the cam gears.
By my workings, if the cam dowel holes are any closer than 25° apart, they would in fact not be separate holes!

Stock bore is 83mm.
Do don't need to subtract 2.0mm from the block & head to compensate for thicker gasket.
You need to subtract the delta between OEM gasket...
The banjo bolt for the oil line #2 returns to the sump, not the block.
So just need to blank the hole in the sump with a bolt. Can't remember thread size, sorry.
To the best of my knowledge, the only difference between PPS pumps and non-PPS pumps is the drive pulley diameter.
My car is an 89 with PPS, but I have recently replaced the power steering pump with one from an 86 IIRC and steering is fine! I simply swapped pulleys over...

Did your Titan gears have a notch for the centre dowel pin location?
I've just received replacement gears from them as their last set did not fit...
And did they clear the rear timing cover plate mounting bolts OK too?
