lol you guys are great ok yes ima pull it and check it but as it goes right now i cant afford to have the crank turned so on and so forth but im deffinatly gonna paint it.... any suggestions ?
ok what im saying is that the last guy who had the car tore the engine all the way down to the block, he left the pistons exposed to the enviroment... as soon as i got time i put oil on top of the pistons to make sure no condinsation could cause any problems with the cylender walls... while i...
well i put some oil in my cylinders today and turned the engine to see if i had any marks from maybe condensation or coolant from the bhg but nothing... the engine turned with so much ease like it was brand new and there were no marks no heat marks no scores no nothing..... since its an 87...
Finally went and picked up my 87 turbo today... time to start putting her together. 149000 miles should i rebuild bottom end since its already tore down to the block and can i get a few pics posted of almost stock engine bay so i can have a reference for vacuume hoses and such... i have double...
undesireable or not i bought the car with a BHG and tore down to the block with all the peicses/parts to put back together with extras to go on the side for 300 bucks :)
Well I just looked at my cams today and they are scored where they rest on the bearings.... the lobes are fine and im using a different head now without the scores so can a machinest take the cams and the head machine the cams and make or order bearings to fix the difference.... plz help soon...

what are the differences between a NA head and a Turbo head besides the cams.... i have 2 turbo heads both are supposedly no good... havent taken them to a shop yet, just bought them any way a good turbo head is hard to find but...
