i had the same problem it would run like shit..super rich and wouldnt want to boost but idled fine..it would actually die when i stabbed the throttle...would rev ok when i tried it easy..you throwing any codes? it was the wiring on the VPC..it was loose..i cant member where but if you look up...

as far as the crank goes i havent really found like anything but the stock crank i been told can handle alot of power safely...im in the same boat as you but im building just to build...nothing wrong with my motor now but building another just to have more power :naughty: have you thought about...

i got ya...i buyin mine from a buddy and just building it myself...the only main block stuff i can dig up is all 1J and 2J stuff...i didnt look all that hard tho either. sry couldnt help too much...

hey whats up? i see in early posts on your build thread that you live in barracks..what service you in? where you stationed?

do you have a VPC? any engine codes thrown? i had something simmilar i guess..i would run rough and not rev freely..wide open it would only build to about 2780 2800 RPM..looking up troubleshooting on the VPC one of the things to check is loose wiring for those symtoms and it was from the wiring...

yeah it is a tank alright..lol but the 2.8 motor that was in them was the same motor in the camaros, so im thinkin if i can find one im gonna swap the intake manifolds and put a cone filter on the end.. :naughty: Would work...so im told by a ex celebrity owner..lol
