I did it for 3 weeks once with brand new winter tires on the stock rims and sand bags. It is fun to drive for the first little bit (that wear's out fast...car too heavy...too much momentum). Like I said, did it for 3 weeks.....then i got myself a little plymouth horizon.

Thanks for your help guys. I am just weary of someone claiming that the emanage is extremely insufficient for running the MK3 upto 500rwhp (and my friend does know he won't reach that unless he upgrades his fuel system). I believe the factory computer plus emanage will be sufficient for tuning...
I am having the same prob. COde 31, on and off all the time. Soon as it goes into boost.....it feels strong....then kinda dies off even thought the E01 says I am holding boost.....then let off......check engine light and it starts chugging. At the lights.....it doesn't seem to want to idle.

1)Rebuilt Engine with JE Pistons, Stock ROds, HKS 2mm Stopper HG, ARP HS, port and polish, stock valve train...etc
2)T3/T4 60-1 upgraded TUrbocharger
3) STOCK 440cc injectors and stock fuel pump...
