I live 11 minutes outside of Tuscaloosa, AL. Roll Tide! My family has a gunshop on our property. A few years back there used to be a trailer park next to our property. My had brother just got a new 25 round magazine for his ruger 10/22 and was ripping up some shit with that. Some old lady...
I would check for a blocked catalytic converter. The one in the downpipe gave me this problem. And at the same time my charge pipe coming directly off the compressor outlet was cracked 75% of the way around. So whenever the engine twisted from torque it would open the crack and the turbo would...
I went through fuel cut problems at one time, before my car was fast. It felt like the exhaust was stopped up and it was. I cut out the pre-cat on the downpipe and it was stopped up and contaminated with green buildup.
But it still got cut, eventually I looked at the rubber boost hose coming...
Reading about more and more of these incidents makes me want to start a class action suit against these fraudulent companies. One of which I was personally ripped off by. There has to be hundreds of people with these same problems that are just blind to the bigger reality. Its a crime and I...
Boosted, yours does sound like the valvetrain since it is so consistent, sounds the same at idle as it does higher up. My car did that when it was running. Rod knock usually has an interval that doesnt start at idle.
That was another problem with mine. The strongest point for the clutch to engage is the outside edge, and those pucks are hardly ever shiny on the outside edge, maybe 45% of the surface was working.
The friction discs were fine other than some possible debris damage from the broken strap and heat effects from slippage.
The pressure plate diaphragm has dowel pins and straps(springs) that keep it in place while allowing it to move forward and backward. It seems like spec is balancing the...
Well I had a machine shop put the shortblock together and a crank typically will not damage a clutch, its usually the other way around. But whatever man, spend your money on that crap if you want to.:nono: I personally feel that you are making a bad decision to go with that clutch. They...
Pictures speak louder than words. This is the fourth one to do this to me. I installed the first two and had more luck out of those installations. The last two were done by a local shop with the same problem soon after. On the fifth install my crank pulley bolt broke and the car is down. These...
I have had four of these clutches in my car, 3 stg 3's and one stg 3+. That should tell you something right there. They break the pressure plates and wobble, and will destroy your crankshaft. Dont put that piece of shit in your car man.:3d_frown::thumbsdow
I wouldn't worry about that oil pressure at all. My car was worrying me because the oil pressure would get down to less than 5 psi at idle on the dash. So I put a mechanical oil pressure gauge under the hood and it always was in the right place, the oil pressure would always match or exceed...
