It's a good thing that you painted the engine white. It makes the postmortem pics show up so much better.;) At least the stock parts are relatively cheap to replace. With all of the fuel reversion in your engine bay a WOT, I'm amazed the thrown rod didn't spark a fireball. That was a...
I like it when oil companies design and hype a newer product because then their prior over-hyped oil goes on sale. Thanks to Castrol Edge and Pennzoil Ultra, retailers and dumping "crappy" oil like Pennzoil Platinum and GC for prices almost as low as conventional oil.
I see that Canadians are capable of hitting the brakes, shifting out of gear, and shutting off the car. Apparently some Americans aren't as resourceful as there neighbors to the North .
You got jacked because your a dependent. Once your on your own you'll be paying a lot more than $4000 a year for shelter and utilities. Enjoy it while you can, life only gets more expensive from here on out. Some day you'll look back and laugh about the fact that you're bitching about 4...
If you'd keep the drifting on the track and try to keep it off of the wet street, you'd be alright. Seriously, ABS and some tire tread are your friends. Toyota should never have sold the MKIII w/o ABS.:: angry ::

If you retard the timing by turning the CPS, it not only retards the timing across the board even when you don't want it to, but it retards when the fuel injectors fire. Also moving the base timing 2 degrees won't help your problem if the ECU is advancing the timing 10 degrees because it...
That is the most awesome video I've ever seen. I was laughing and yelling at my screen before it was over. I love the part where the guy with the bicycle knocks the guy off of the motorcycle.
I wouldn't call that video better. It's longer and shows the car sitting on a dyno while not showing numbers and revving in the dark while not showing the tach. It still sucks. Maybe someone has a video of this car running a quarter mile while not filming the ET or speed.:kickinthenuts:

I wouldn't use Tokico Illuminas with anything but a stock spring. They suck on a lowered car. If your going to waste money on TEM's compatible shocks, why not spend it on a good set of Bilsteins?
My first 7m picked up a nasty shriek right after I bought it. After a few months of trying to figure out what it was, I took it to a mechanic. The front lip of the crank timing pulley had broken off and the timing belt had worn a groove in the lower timing cover.
The OP lives in Florida. If you live that far south you shouldn't worry about getting rid of the stock fan, but how to supplement it for better cooling. A stock Supra at 100 degrees feels like it has a four banger. To fix this you need to add a larger and thicker front mount intercooler which...
