Yes, Lexus + 550cc should be the formula of choice.. 60-1, Lexus, 750's(got these for free or I would have 550's), aero fpr, apexi neo.

Your probably right about replacing it but I was just wondering why it will idle perfect. This is my first go around with a Supra.

Have an 87, did upgrades 60-1 turbonetics turbo, rc 750's, neo, lexus AFM, Cometic MHG, walbro FP, Aeromotive FPR... Car ran great after start up for about 1 day and then it didn't want to start. After two or three attemps it started again, but pulled code 14. Checked all grounds and check out...

Just did mine two weeks ago and the breaker bar with extention cranking over the motor worked great..

Is your coil pack grounded. Same think happened to me and sure enough had a bad ground wire. Put new wire from coil pack bracket to a ground and it fired right up...

Because it's amazing what can be done with these 180 cubic inch motor!!!!
