I love the comfort of our stock seats and the fact you can adjust them to your liking. If weight is a big issue for you then i would say go with something aftermarket. But if not stick with the stock seats and reupholster them. Stay comfy on your daily commutes! lol.

From what I've read you always want to satisfy Vf like suprapowaz said. Satisfy Vf in closed loop. Then tune in open loop. If you don't satisfy your Vf, the ECU will throw out your tune. ^^ Same thing Bryan said. 7m since you already have it. The thread Bryan is talking about got a little heated lol. But it still has some good points that were made on either engine. Maybe read it and decide for yourself. Ultimately it depends on what would make you happy with the end result.

A lot of it is personal preference. The 7m, 1j, and 2j are all good motors. And with your goals the 7m will do just fine. You just have to have the patients on building a reliable motor. I'm no expert by any means. I've read a lot, and I mean a lot! Don't take any shortcuts on the 7m and it...

Also to add, manual r154 transmission (obviously), manual driveshaft, flywheel, clutch, and maybe some other things I can't think off the top of my head. I read up you don't necessarily need a manual ECU since your going auto to manual. Just gotta do some wiring for reverse lights I believe...

I personally wouldn't chance it. I'd get one from shine auto, but it is only 15$ more or less you call.

Agreed! If you can't get a hold of them over there at BIC, you should get a hold of raptor racing. Very good quality and its good to support the vendors here.
