Im really leaning towards buying this 1jz engine without harness and tranny for 400 bucks. I found a W58 transmission with low miles but im stumped on the harness and ecu. Im pretty sure that I could grab a MKIII supra NA harness from the junk yard but need alil input. It seems like a great deal...
I think it would suit me best to get a Soarer motor/tranny set since im putting it into my 89 240sx. But there doesnt seem to be much info on the swap. But I have maybe 2 diffrent pinout diagrams?? I was wondering if the ecu's are diffrent as far as the main components functioning correctly.
I was curious if anyone is using it. Not sure but your able to adjust the miss fire with the revlimit. I was wondering if the limiter would overide the limiter and allow you to rev higher than factory ecu will allow.
