Can anyone help me out with the full OEM part #'s for the gasket where the elbow mounts to the rear of the turbo and the gasket where the rear of the downpipe meets the main cat? I have partial #'s from the online tsrm of 17279 & 17451 respectively but these #'s are not complete.

I have a stock 89 turbo with 60k original miles. Is it advisable to add a downpipe for the purpose of eliminating the excessive heat generated by the oem pre-cat and therefore hopefully extending the engine life?
