its an 87 NA 5 spd
its starts to shake after about 25 or 30 mph...its a reealy hard shake that u can feel from the gear box too....i drove it from phx to tucson (100miles) at about 80 mph and all it did was shake and all my mirrors shoook like crazy...could this be a drive shaft???? center...
88 turbo AT, Stock
so i finished 3 or 4 runs at the track with no problems ran the usual time.....on the ride home i take the freeway for bout 10 miles or less and i went 100 almost the whole way till the exit.....i got at the light and the temp started to rise and the radiotor light was on...
just got my 87 NA/auto STOCK back form the paint shop....i know they didnt mess with it so dont blame them....im driving it and its shifthing at higher RPMS and shifitng hard...also the RPMS tend to be higher than 3k before its at 10-15 mph....then it will shift at like 4500.....and when i let...
so every time i go out and push my car or accelrate...it used to be more responsive so im like somtin is rong with the spark......i took out the sparks i could the first one and the one closest to the windsheild and they were pretty OILY and dirty.....and in the middle part where all the spark...
theres this buddy of mine who has a STOCK ct26 turbo with only 40k miles on it cuz it came of a J-spec used motor that he is selling...what is a good price for it?? also i herd something about UPGRADING it to a 60 trim....by boring it out or compressing at a turbo charger shop.....has any one...
i recently got my 88 turbo/auto....and some times when i drive it and then park it....smoke or VAPOR/steam will come out from the left side of the spark plug cover....right behind the water outlet of the thermostat....does any one now what this is????? its doesnt seam like a BHG really.....but...
i just got my 88 MKIII turbo AUTO...i drove it on the freeway(approx 5miles) from where i bought it and it ran fine when i toook my exit and slowed down..the temperature started to rise....i pulled over and noticed the fan closer to the engine wasnt moving at all and its a custom ELECTRIC fan...
any one now how much the STOCK radiator will handle or is GOOD for like HP wise....and when it is necesary to get an upgraded ALUMINUM radiotor...and any one now of any GOOD ones theyve had experice with??
everymorning when i want to start my NA/AUTO.....i have to crank it 2 or 3 times and when it starts..it shakes at very LOW RPMS and some times when i give it a LITTLE tap of gas it shuts off...but then i crank it again and it starts to warm up....i searched this but couldnt find an answer...any...
i just wanna know if the X brace u see on some targa supras...helpful at all...does it reduce gas mileage or help it??? i know its suposed to stiffen up the chassie...but any body have one that can tell me if its nice to have or a waste of money???
