my car's been throwing code 52 sence i got a knock sensor from a 5MGE and replaced my broken original. alot of guys here say it's probley the wiring, but i'd like to make sure my sensor is ok before i get a re-wire kit. i've read to put a volt meter on it and tap it and see if i get a reading...

well i just put my 7MGE back in after a rebuild and i got code 52:3d_frown: stupid knock sensor! robs all my power. now on changing it, should i just go ahead and remove the intake? or can it be done from the bottom? What have you done guys done? please tell. Thanks........-Brian

ok, i just finished putting in my rebuilt 7MGE in my 88, im preaty sure ive got all the vacume hoses where they go and all the wiring plugs except one, you'll see it in the pics but i have no clue where it goes. as for the engine, it starts great but idles very low and bounces off 400 rpm's...
