I know it's not the greatest picture but can someone look at this and tell me if these look like stock springs or aftermarket I know the struts are Illumina II's but i can't tell what springs these are and the car doesn't look a whole lot lower...

Is it legal to change intercooler piping from stock rubber to metal piping? Also are silicon couplers legal? This is in California I know this may sound like a dumb question, but i swear to god that I have failed before because of colored hoses that weren't black :( so i'd like to make sure...
